The feast of St. Michael the Archangel will take place on September 29 in the hamlet of Sant’Arcangelo, where the statue of the saint of the same name is kept.
The saint has been proclaimed patron saint of the State Police and is celebrated throughout Italy.
St. Michael is the patron saint of the neighboring municipality of Sant’Angelo di Brolo, where every year a rich religious program involves hundreds of visitors in honor of the patron saint’s feast.
Thanks to the proximity of the two municipalities and given the shared and heartfelt participation in the celebrations of St. Michael the Archangel, the celebrations will take place between the hamlet of Sant’Arcangelo di Piraino and Sant’Angelo di Brolo, in a joyful atmosphere full of music, tradition, folklore and good food.
