From Burgio to Giuliana and Prizzi: a journey through the Sicani with Italea Sicilia

A journey to three villages of the Sicani between the provinces of Palermo and Agrigento.
On the occasion of the last weekend of Borghi dei Tesori Fest, with the Italea Sicilia bus, many visited three of the 46 small municipalities that participated in the festival concluded last spring, now in its fourth edition, dedicated to the Year of Roots Tourism.

In Burgio stop at the Museum of Mummies inside the Capuchin Convent and then in the foundry of Rocco Cacciabaudo.
Within the walls of Frederick II’s castle in Giuliana, a theatrical visit with tastings of tabische, olives and cheeses.
Finally, in Prizzi, an experience to discover the ancient festival of the Dance of the Devils, which is celebrated every year in the alleys of the village on Easter Day.
