The experience
Private flight by piper from the ancient airport of Palermo, wanted by the Florio family.
An exclusive experience that allows you to retrace, like the pioneers of flight at the beginning of the twentieth century, the first routes over the city of Palermo aboard private pipers driven by expert pilots of the Aeroclub of Boccadifalco.
A true immersion in the culture of flight that starts from the hangar of the ancient airport of Boccadifalco (no longer used for commercial flights), wanted by the Florio family who were the protagonists of the first aerial feats. On September 14, 1919, Vincenzo Florio organized the “Targa Florio Aeronautica”, the first post-war European race.
After a visit to the hangar and the meeting with the pilots who carry on the glorious aeronautical tradition, you will take to the skies for an experience of about 15 minutes, for a breathtaking view of the entire bay of Mondello with its blue and golden brushstrokes, and a ride over the city.
