The event is dedicated to all the cobblestones who return to their country for the holidays.
This day originates from the 1st conference on the emigration of San Pietrina held on 1 September 1990.
Since then, this event, which has now become a tradition, has been repeated every summer.
The annual appointment with the “Festa dell’Emigrante” also represents a way to meet and be together in one’s own land of origin.
The event includes shows and exhibitions in honor of emigrants.
Not to be missed is the Feast of Maccheroni with Nebrodi black sauce.
