It will be a weekend not to be missed the one scheduled in San Piero Patti with the third edition of the Schiticchio d’Autunno.
After the success of the two editions, the Schiticchio d’Autunno returns with the same formula based on taste and entertainment: two days, Saturday and Sunday, entirely dedicated to traditional food, the typical flavors of the autumn season and the good wine produced in our territory.
Not the usual village festival but an event that aims to rediscover the pleasure and joy of getting together in front of a table set with the best of traditional cuisine.
The idea of schiticchio, that is, a frugal lunch with friends, embellished with special and seasonal dishes and musical entertainment, is typical of Sicilian gastronomic culture.
Schiticchio for every Sicilian and for cobblestones is synonymous with conviviality, eating well and taste.
The Schiticchio will take place in the heart of the historic center of San Piero, with a route through the main streets.
Visitors will be able to be enticed by food stands that will offer the best of Nebrodi autumn cuisine, including some dishes revisited in a “gourmet” key.
Great space will be given to new wine with several tasting and serving points that will be taken care of exclusively by wine producers, wineries and wine bars in our area.
To enrich the route will be the stands of typical products and the spaces dedicated to hobbies and entertainment for children.

By car: Patti exit of the A20 Messina-Palermo motorway. Continue towards San Piero Patti. It is possible to arrive from the Nebrodi mountains S.S. 116 Randazzo – Capo d'Orlando, at the Favoscuro junction continue to San Piero Patti. By Train: The nearest station is Patti-San Piero Patti, located on the Messina – Palermo line.
