The event includes the creation of a band review in honor of Blessed Antonio Franco, whose remains are preserved in the Cathedral of Santa Lucia del Mela.
The event will take place on September 2nd, the day on which the Blessed is celebrated, and will be held in characteristic places of the Municipality of Santa Lucia del Mela, such as churches, historic buildings and the characteristic alleys of the village will involve some of the best Sicilian bands.
The musical world of the bands in the realities of Lucia has always marked the cycle of the seasons with popular festivals but also the alternation of time in an evocative combination of folklore and pathos.
The city community and the tourist presence returning from foreign cities in the summer will enjoy the opportunity to experience an evocative musical moment characterized by the recovery of the musical tradition linked to the feelings of the people of Lucia, through live performances on musical compositions related to the theme of celebration, joy and folk / popular music.
Linked to the musical event, a food and wine event will be held, focusing on the promotion of typical and local agri-food products, grapes and Mallorcan cheese, not only making their qualities known, but enhancing local dishes and dishes, involving restaurants and bars.

How to get there
Driving along the A20, exit at the Milazzo junction and proceed towards Palermo for about 1.5 km. When you reach the roundabout, take the third exit, towards upstream / downstream and take Via Kennedy for about one km. Then take the S.P.n.65 for about 4.5 km. At that point you will have arrived in Santa Lucia del Mela. Follow the signs for the "Cathedral" and you will reach the place of the event
