The celebrations in honor of the patron saint, S. Vincenzo Ferreri take place three times a year; on 05 April, a feast on the liturgical calendar, on 28 December, as a sign of thanksgiving for the escape from danger during the 1908 earthquake and from 26/08/2024 August, celebrations shared with the emigrants, transferred to Germany, Argentina, Australia and the United States of America who return to Castell’Umberto in that period, together with their descendants, to discover their roots and their history.
On August 26, the celebrations of the solemn mass begin, in memory of the miracle worked by the Saint – Resurrection of the child of Mirto.
On August 27th Procession of the Holy Relic of St. Vincent.
On August 28 Solemn procession of the Patron Saint, very suggestive, with moments of great manifestation of faith.
As part of the celebrations, for emigrants, there will be a welcome and aperitif at the Town Hall, in the presence of the civil and military authorities, guided tours of the Old Town – Castania, experiential tourism, classical music concert, by the Septiclavio Association, light music concert.
