The Montelepre roots fest is an event that will take place in the most symbolic places of the municipality such as the
majestic Ventimiglia Tower, the churches of Maria SS. Del Rosario, Santa Rosalia and San Giuseppe and the alleys
of the historic part of the town.
The following are planned:
– Photographic exhibition inside the Ventimiglia Tower to tell the historical moments of the village;
– Walks inside the urban park, one of the few in Sicily to be located in the historic center;
– Guided tour of the necropolis of Quarara , a famous archaeological area where
numerous historical artifacts found;
– Historical re-enactment of the Ventimiglia created and conceived by the local Ventimiglia Association;
– Food and wine tour of typical local products and in particular of old-fashioned pasta, sweet
Typical Monteleprino designed in the 50s and now produced by Deco; In addition, there will be a visit to the
laboratories that produce old-fashioned pasta.
