Mushar Roots Fest – Feast of the Santangelesi in the World

This event, which has been organized by this Municipal Administration for several years, this year wants to take on greater importance.
To this end, for that day, the representatives of all the communities of Santangelo abroad and the delegations of the respective cities will be invited.
The Municipal Administrations of Berazategui, Quilmes, La Louviere, Bedford and Markgröningen have been invited.
During this day, activities will be carried out in order to introduce the treasures and riches of the Municipality of Sant’Angelo Muxaro to all participants with guided tours and itinerant tastings of typical traditional products.
The day will also include the signing of the Twinning with the participating cities.
The event will end with an evening of dances and songs typical of the local tradition.
During the days dedicated to the “Feast of Sant’Angelesi in the World” two “Roots Workshops” will be carried out by teachers, local historians and volunteers, one on the history of Sant’Angelo Muxaro and the other on the local dialect and Sicilian in general
