The feast of the Santissimo Ecce Homo di Piraino takes place on the second Sunday of October and is the most heartfelt festival by the community.
On the eve of the feast there is a procession followed by a crowd of children with torches and flowers in their hands, in which the simulacrum of the Child Jesus is led to the church of the Rosary and placed in the lap of the Madonna.
This is followed by the procession that accompanies the simulacrum of Our Lady of the Rosary to the sanctuary of the Ecce Homo for reunion with her son.
On the day of the celebrations, the simulacrum of the Ecce Homo is placed on a vara and carried on the shoulders of the faithful through the streets of the medieval historic center.
During the days of celebration, a rich program of typical and characteristic events takes place, enlivened by musical, folkloric and entertainment shows.
