XXI FEAST OF THE EMIGRANT

Now in its XXI edition, the emigrant festival has traditionally taken place in August since 2003. It presents a rich program of gastronomy and entertainment.

The purpose of the event is to encourage and enhance the artistic and historical-cultural heritage of the town, also from a tourist point of view, putting at the center of this event those who for various reasons have had to leave Antillo, thus testifying to the attachment that the entire community has for them.
As in previous years, the entertainment program is varied, starting from the cultural aspect and then concluding with music and party in the square.

The event will include several moments:

– A conference on the theme of “Antillean emigrants over time”, retracing stories and traditions to end with the evening of liscio in the square for the whole community which has always been a fixed appointment of this event;

– A tasting of typical local dishes, enlivened by folk music and dances.

This event will be a fundamental moment where the entire community will feel united around its roots, offering tourists the warmth, genuineness and traditions typical of a small community, where they can feel welcomed and spend their free time pleasantly.
